Collection of your personal informationWhen you sign up as a member of The Werribee District 4WD Club we ask for your personal information as required for club operation (such as your full name, postal address, contact phone number(s), email address, vehicle details & names and birthdays of your partner and/or children). This information is stored on a server that The Club Committee deems to be adequately secured. Where necessary, through legal obligations or otherwise that your information needs to be kept in an alternate form (i.e. printed/written) it will be delivered to the member(s) of The Club Committee who require or are required to keep such information. Upon taking out a membership subscription with The Werribee District 4WD Club Inc., The Club Committee will issue you with a website access username and password which allow you to use and participate online club services and events. Your personal information is also made accessible to the necessary committee members for correspondence purposes, such as posting of The Club Magazine. The Werribee District 4WD Club Inc. will not disclose any personal information to a third party, unless obligated by law, without your written consent.
Throughout daily operations, The Werribee District 4WD Club may be required to share certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information1 to verified third parties2 for improving the services and/or usefulness of the club. Information Security

The Werribee District 4WD Club make good faith efforts to provide you with access to all your personal information collected by the club. Requests to view all of your personal information held by The Club needs to be put in writing, and the relevant Club Committee members will endeavour to contact you with this information within seven days.
Requested updates, insertions or deletions of information held by The Club are required to be put in writing and forwarded to a member of The Club Committee, who will update or remove the desired information from the club database at their earliest possible convenience, provided it is not required to be kept by law or for the basic functionality of The Club.
